carving pumpkins

Today Aubrey and I attempted to carve a pumpkin. I say "attempted" because she wasn't really interested in the whole thing. I thought she'd enjoy helping me scoop up the pumpkin seeds and get messy. Instead she stuck her hand in once, turned up her nose and said "no." At least I had fun carving the pumpkin and she did enjoy coloring one the other pumpkins with markers and trying to lift them.

This time last year....

Your pumpkin turned out so great! Mine would have looked a disaster if I had tried to do it on my own!

Her ponytail made me smile! I can't believe the change from last year to this year - I had the same thought to post a picture of Liz on my blog (she was only a week old).

I love to see how little ones hold their markers/crayons. So cute!
Her face in the last current picture reminds me of her excited face in the itsy bitsy spider video - ha!
