this week

This week my brother and sister-in-law took Aubrey to San Antonio for a day and a half so that I could have a much needed break. It was awesome to sleep in (until 8:00), sleep without a baby monitor on, eat whenever I wanted, enjoy a quiet, unrushed dinner with my husband, and have the house all to myself for a day. Although I missed my little girl I got some much needed R&R time and even squeezed in a pedicure because I can no longer reach my own feet. Thank you Victor and Colleen for caring for Aubrey along with your 3 boys- what an act of kindness! :)

I went to my OB appointment this week. I'm 2cm and progressing fine. 2 weeks and 4 days left!

Aubrey's showing a bit of a stubborn streak this week that has needed some breaking. Her favorite thing to say has become "No, mama!" And it's not said sweetly. We've had to begin the process of breaking her of that. I've heard my name used so many times used with the word "no" that I think I'm going to change it! :)

Today has been a beautiful Saturday filled with pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, watching football and enjoying the weather.

Hope you've all had a wonderful week!

I'm glad that you enjoyed your break! I'm also glad to hear that you are making progress towards meeting Baby Tipps! Levi can't wait to meet her. (Neither can we!) :)

I know you must be so happy to be getting closer to meeting baby girl #2. We are waiting for the call!

Sorry about Aubrey's stubborn streak. Having a child who is so verbal is a blessing and a curse at times. I remember that clearly with Kennedy.

To sleep without the baby monitor! I'm jealous. I see why you love your brother and Colleen. Glad you got a break. Sounds like is was well deserved.

Today was a good day for Aggie football. :)

I am so excited for you! I almost forgot you had a little one on the way! I am sure Aubrey will become a wonderful big sissy, soon she will have someone else to say no to!

It's great having a break for sure! Wouldn't that be funny if you had her on November 4th, Jeanas birthday? That might be a little past the due date though, so i wont wish that on you for your sake haha. I love and miss you guys.
