This year we had Christmas at my brother's and sister-in-law's new home in Boerne. Their house is beautiful and my brother did an amazing job building it. And even though Jeff was sick, we enjoyed our time with family!
As always, Grandma and her smartphone were very popular.

My mom gave the little kids interactive, cloth books for Christmas that she made. My brother and I each had one when we were little that we loved. I still remember that book. The girls love their new books just as much as a I loved mine. I know this took my mom hours upon hours to do but we will cherish them!
Looking at our cloth books; the girls their new one and me, my childhood one.
Brooklyn's outfit for the weekend: lots of necklaces, a tobogon and occasionally a tool belt.
We drove home Christmas Eve so that we could have Christmas at our own house. On Christmas morning the girls were tired and not very animated but we had a good time. Our Christmas was simple and short. We had homemade monkey bread to eat and church to get to.
My present from Jeff was to decorate part of our bedroom. Instead of just giving me money, he created a very clever puzzle for me to figure out. :)

Oh Brooklyn. Sweet silly girl. How can that tiny body hold such a big personality.
Merry Christmas, Tipps family.
LOVE Brooklyn's expression in the family photo!!
Y'all all look great - it's good to catch back up after not reading for a while!
